Driven by a deep curiosity at the endless possibilities for figurative investigation and expression, my work is an intense observation of the human body. Sculptures are portrayed truthfully with subtle anatomical detail and sensuous tactile mass. Working directly with the model over extended periods, mine is a non-idealised vision of human physicality and emotion. I am interested in musculature, movement, expression and the body’s relationship with space.
